Come and See Bike Night Weymouth Style
Bike Night Returns to Weymouth Esplanade’s Clock Tower
Weymouth’s bike night is back for its fifth year and hopes to become bigger and better than before and it has moved location.
You will now find the bikes (as if you could miss them), lined up along the Esplanade by the clock tower which should hold around 300 bikes. Marshalls will be there to guide you in and relieve you of your £1.50 entrance fee.
Bike night in Weymouth runs from the start of April through to the end of September and is held every Thursday.
It’s all about having fun and meeting other bikers plus the proceeds go to two worthy causes:
- Dorset’s children’s hospice Julia’s House (link to a day I spent at this wonderful place)
- NABD – a cool charity that helps to adapt bikes so that injured bikers can ride once more
All the eateries and bars nearby will stay open to feed and water the visitors and locals so make sure you pop down to check out the variety of bikes on display. The last Thursday of every month will see a host of classic American cars joining the party so there is more reason to come along.
If you own a sports bike, cruiser, trail, classic, streetfighter, tourer, custom bike, hog or whatever, (or if you just want to come and check them out), book a room with us for a night or two and enjoy the bikes, the sea views, the local wares and all that Weymouth has to offer!
I was there last Thursday with a friend and the bikes were cool, the people were friendly, the weather was good and the vibe was great.
The last Thursday on April saw the Classic Cars arrive in Weymouth…
